SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping Policy

The Indoor Water Fountain Company, a Division of The Yankee Retail Company LLC ships its products via UPS from Franklin, CT. In stock orders received between Monday and Friday will be shipped within 3 business days (or less). Orders received during the weekend cannot be processed and prepared for shipping until the following Monday. You will be notified via email once your order has been shipped and credit card charged. During holiday periods such as Mother's Day and Christmas, we make a special effort to ship orders out the same day that we receive them if possible.

The Indoor Water Fountain Company offers standard shipping within the Contiguous USA via UPS Ground (sorry, no P.O. Boxes). Shipping prices are based upon the number of item(s) ordered, and are clearly listed on each products web page. Here's a list of our standard shipping charges:

Shipping Outside the Contiguous US

The shipping information and prices apply to items being delivered within the Contiguous USA only.

Delivery Times


UPS 2-Day - UPS 2-Day provides delivery within 2 business days from when it is shipped. Important - remember to add an additional 1-3 days to this time to account for the time it takes to process your order (however, we do prioritize UPS 2-Day Priority Mail orders,
and if possible try to ship them out in less than 3 days).

UPS Ground - UPS Ground does not provide a guaranteed delivery date, but they do provide the following estimates on the map below. Important - remember to add an additional 3 days to the times listed below, to account for the the time it takes to process your order.

Tracking & Order Status

Once your order is shipped you will receive an email including your UPS tracking number, using this number you can check the status of your package in transit online by visiting our Order Status Page.

 


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Return Policy

NOTE: Some fountains are an exception to the 90 day return policy. For specific return policies, please refer to the individual product page.

90 Day Return Policy:
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return the unused item in original condition and original packaging, within 90 days of shipping for a full refund, less shipping costs. If the item was shipped to you at no charge the actual shipping costs for items will be deducted from the refund. Note: Only items that are unused and in original condition can be returned – no exceptions.

How To Return An Item

TO INSURE A PROMPT REFUNDFOLLOW ALL STEPS BELOW:

1. Obtain An RMA Number - Please call 860-642-7790 and speak to a customer service representative to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This RMA number must be written on correspondence with the return such as the original packing slip.  If you cannot locate your packing slip, please include a note with the billing name and address and the RMA number

2. Pack Your Return - Wrap your item carefully in a box, and in its original packaging and enclose correspondence, which references the RMA number (as indicated above), with your return.

3. Ship Your Return – Ship your return using the shipping carrier of your choice. Please note, return shipping is at the customer’s expense.   We recommend that you insure your return, as we cannot be responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected returns.

4. Receive Your Refund - If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued within 15 business days of the receipt of your return and will appear on your billing statement as Yankee Retail. If you paid by check, a refund check will be mailed to you.  If the item was shipped to you at no charge the actual shipping costs for items will be deducted from the refund.

Damaged Item

We want you to enjoy your purchase when it arrives and therefore make every effort to ship items securely. In the event that you receive a damaged item, you must do so within 48 hours of receipt of your damaged items, and only by calling and speaking with customer service to receive your damage item number. Please note you cannot notify customer service of damage via voicemail or email.
Our customer service representatives will make arrangements to have the damaged item/part replaced.

Note: All damage claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the order. 
We reserve the right to make changes to our policies with or without notice.


PLACING AN ORDER

Payment Methods
The Indoor Water Fountain Company gladly accepts personal checks, money orders, MasterCard and Visa. Phone and online orders are limited to major credit cards. Sorry, we cannot accept C.O.D. orders.

Placing Multiple Orders
If you wish to send multiple fountains to a single address, simply select the correct quantity when placing your online order. 

Unfortunately if you wish to send multiple fountains to multiple addresses, you will need to place a new online order for each address that you are shipping to. In order to make this process easier for you, we recommend that you contact us directly via phone at 860-642-7790 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to input this order information for you.


MISCELLANEOUS

Gift Wrapping

The Indoor Water Fountain Company will gift wrap your gift for an additional charge of $3.99, simply select this option during the online order process.

 

Gift Certificates
Can't decide which fountain would make the best gift, then gift certificates make the ideal gifts. The Indoor Water Fountain Company gift certificates are available in denominations of $10, $25, $50, $75 and $100, and are shipped free of charge to the lucky recipient. Running out of time, we can email or overnight ship a gift certificate for you, just call one of our gift specialists at 860-642-7790 for more information about this option.

Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions
- The Indoor Water Fountain Company gift certificates expire 1 year from date of issue.
- The Indoor Water Fountain Company Gift certificates can be redeemed for products on our website, http://www.water-fountain.biz, by calling one of our customer service specialists at 860-642-7790
- Unfortunately, we cannot replace lost or stolen gift certificates. If you have any questions, please contact one of our customer service specialists at 860-642-7790. 
- Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

Caring For Your Fountain
Here are some tips about caring for your indoor water fountain.

To clean the pump - Unplug the your fountain from the electrical outlet. Remove the pump from the base of the fountain, then gently use a small brush or a stream of water to remove any debris.

To keep water clean - We recommend that you clean your fountain monthly using distilled water, at which time you should also change the water, keeping the water clean prevents the water from becoming sticky and forming micro-organisms. To prevent algae, you may use an algaecide, which can be purchased from any fish or pet supply store.

To clean off hard water deposits on the base or rocks - Soak the container and rocks in a mixture of vinegar and water to clean and remove any mineral build-up.

Keeping the water at an optimum level - Add water periodically to keep water level at optimum level and to avoid damaging and shortening the life of your pump. NOTE: Never let the pump dry, as this will damage the pump.

Fountain storage - Unplug the fountain from the electrical outlet, empty the water, and store rocks and fountain in a dry, cool place.
